Marta and Me

In 1969, Marta Becket's tour bus broke down in Death Valley, California. While waiting for repairs, she looked through a hole in a building and discovered a stage. It was love at first sight. Marta performed on that stage until she was 80. Marta and me is a performance across time about transformation and impermanence. Impermanence is why dance is beautiful. We won't have our bodies forever. It is what we do with our time in them that counts.
